Minaret Station is New Zealand’s premium alpine experience, located at the head of a stunningly picturesque glacial valley in the heart of the Southern Alps.

Accessible only by helicopter, Minaret Station treats those fortunate enough to experience this wilderness landscape, to a level of comfort and style never before available in the New Zealand mountains.

The individual Chalets are separately positioned amongst native alpine grasses and herb fields, each harnessing unique vistas of the valley and surrounds.

Guests are afforded the privacy, warmth and comfort of tasteful high-country design, with each chalet featuring sheepskin carpets, a king-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom and a hot tub on adjoining private deck, where they can relax and recline beneath the stars.

Central to the Alpine Lodge is the Mountain Kitchen. Linked to the chalets by a series of raised wooden boardwalks, the Mountain Kitchen features two separate living areas, wood-burning fires, a well-stocked library and cellar and first-class dining facilities.

Unquestionably, the experience of staying at Minaret Station Alpine Lodge is both unique and inspiring.

Included in the Chalet tariff are all dedicated house-keeping services along with all chef prepared cuisine including a full a la carte breakfast, lunch (picnic or seated), pre-dinner canapés and a gourmet three-course evening meal.

Beverages, including top local wines are also included during the stay excluding the reserve cellar list.

Guests can take advantage of complimentary WIFI throughout the Alpine Lodge. A satellite television is located in the study of the Mountain Kitchen.

Guides are on hand to lead informative hikes or leisurely excursions around the lodge area, ranging from a gentle walk to neighbouring waterfalls through to more challenging hill climbs from the valley floor.
