Welcomed by a private Butler who will help facilitate your stay, indulge yourself in the wealth of exclusive facilities and unwind in a private sanctuary. Built specifically for the McCallum family, the McCallum Residence has been lovingly restored from a historic homestead back into an authentic and luxury residence for discerning clientele. The antique and light filled spaces create a feeling of stepping back in time, with a combination of colonial New Zealand and the McCallum’s Scottish heritage.

A taste of luxury

Wake up to the sounds of the ocean lapping the shore and the songs of native birds in the surrounding grounds. A private Chef will be on site to offer you everything from a casual BBQ to a full culinary dining experience. With produce sourced directly from our own gardens and our partnership with the famous Clevedon Coast Oysters, you are sure to taste the freshest local products from the coast. Large bay doors open onto a private beach dining area overlooking Waiheke Island, complete with a sheltered BBQ for the perfect dining experience.

Relax at home or discover the region

You can do as little or as much as you like at the McCallum Residence. Clevedon and the surrounding region boast a renowned range of activities to choose from. If you want to unwind and relax, the grounds have everything you need for a tranquil day by the ocean. Kayak, fish, hang out in the hammocks with a book or round the family up for some lawn games and really make the day your own.
