From the grand hallway, guests will be welcomed by the open plan living, kitchen, and dining area. This space offers great indoor to outdoor flow with retractable doors stretching the length of the property, perfect for those warm summer days. From the dining area, through the doors and out onto the terrace, guests can enjoy the Zen garden, BBQ, and outdoor seating area. Off the garden is one of the four-bedroom suites. Set separately from the main property, this bedroom features an ensuite bathroom, sofa, and views you can’t wait to wake up to, all with that additional level of privacy.

Space for the full family

The remaining three-bedroom suites are all off the main hallway. The master suite features an ensuite bathroom complete with an outdoor shower and double vanity. From the bedroom, guests can access the front lawn – the perfect spot to enjoy that morning coffee. The remaining two suites have an interconnecting bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and double vanity, and again, both bedrooms offer access to the gardens.

Across the hallway lies the media room – the perfect hideaway for the kids to enjoy a movie night as the adults indulge in a chef prepared dinner at the unique antique dining table. The property also offers a garage to park one car (additional parking on the drive) and store all your ski gear in winter and mountain bikes in summer.

Take off from the front lawn

Being in a slightly more remote location, Pelangi offers space for a private heli to land on the front lawn, meaning the surrounding ski fields, Queenstown, Arrowtown, and Wanaka are all only a short flight away. The property is also only a short 20-minute drive to the famous Cardrona Hotel which features a stunning beer garden – great for warm summer evenings or apres ski after a day up Cardona Ski field. The Cardona Distillery is located across the road and is also a must visit whilst staying at Pelangi – sip and sample some of New Zealand, and the world’s finest gins before returning to Pelangi by heli or road, just in time for the sun setting in the valley below.
