10 Days Golf New Zealand Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival at The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs for a day at leisure
After arriving in Auckland, you will be met by your driver for your private vehicle transfer to Kauri Cliffs. This is a drive time of approximately 4 hours.
This afternoon is at your leisure to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Your Touch of Spice guide can assist with any additional arrangements you would like to make.
Day 2 | Golf at Kauri Cliffs
Kauri Cliffs was designed and built by David Harman of Golf Course Consultants, Orlando, Florida. The par 72 championship golf course measures 7,119 yards / 6,510 metres and offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level.
The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland. Kauri Cliffs is currently ranked #39 in the world by Golf Digest Top 100 Greatest Golf Courses in the World.
Day 3 | Boat & Jetski Cruise
Today you may wish to play a second round of golf at the property, or perhaps take to the water for a sailing excursion.
Cool Change is a 54 ft sailing catamaran, offering you a totally unique way to experience New Zealand's world famous Bay of Islands.
During your trip, be met by the jetski’s and add a bit of adrenalin to your afternoon.
Day 4 | Arrival at Kinloch Manor
This morning is your to enjoy at leisure or perhaps another round of golf.
You will be transferred by private vehicle to Kerikeri Airport for your flight to Taupo.
This afternoon is yours to enjoy Kinloch Manor.
Day 5 | Golf at The Kinloch Club
A top 100 golf course, the Kinloch Club is a Championship inland links style Jack Nicklaus signature design.
Measuring 6519 yards off the white tees, and 7363 yards off the Championship tees, Kinloch offers an exceptional golfing experience.
A must-play on any golfing itinerary for visitors to New Zealand, Kinloch is a world-class championship design from top golf course architect Jack Nicklaus (18 times Major winner).
Day 6 | Golf at Wairakei International
Many find sanctuary on a golf course but it is rare to find a golf course that is a sanctuary, New Zealand's Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary is thought to have scored a world first!
The ecological restoration is the first of its kind in New Zealand and was prompted by golf course owner Gary Lane’s desire to create a unique environment where golf and the natural habitat work in harmony.
Day 7 | Arrival at Eichardt’s Private Hotel
This morning you will be transferred to Taupo Airport for your flight to Queenstown.
Upon arrival in Queenstown, you will be transferred by private vehicle to Eichardt’s Private Hotel.

Day 8 | Milford Sound helicopter excursion
Today you will explore Milford Sounds stunning fiord from the air. Fly the length of Milford Sound past sheer cliffs and gushing waterfalls, out to the Tasman Sea where you land on a wild West Coast beach. In Milford, enjoy a short nature walk and gain that iconic Mitre Peak photo.
Enjoy an exhilarating flight past spectacular rivers, valleys and mountains with blue-green ice falls, and land upon Mt Tutoko glacier in the heart of Fiordland National Park.
Day 9 | Golf at Jack’s Point
Jack’s Point championship golf course, carved from former high country station farmland, backdropped by the Remarkables Mountain range and overlooking Queenstown’s Lake Wakatipu, is billed as one of the world’s most spectacular courses.
The John Darby designed 18-hole par 72 course provides a range of challenges for both experienced and beginner golfers.
Day 10 | Homeward bound
Time to depart - already planning your return to beautiful New Zealand.
