Wairaurahiri Wilderness Expedition

Southland

Go where only few have gone for an adventure of a lifetime. Jet boat across the deepest lake in New Zealand, Lake Houroko, towards awaiting rafts. Set off down the grade two Wairaurahiri River exploring the untouched bushland where few have trekked before. Arriving at a remote wilderness hut, your experienced guide will prepare a freshly caught feast worthy of champions. Rise and shine early in the morning and enjoy the easy walk along the South Coast, spotting Stewart Island off in the distance, before jumping in a jet boat (or heli) and making your way back up the river. This is one of our teams favourite experiences - something exclusive, memorable and unlike anything you'll ever experience again!

 

Whare Kea Adventure

Wanaka

Journey through a variety of stunning landscapes with expansive mountain and glacial views through bush clad valleys with deep blue rivers and pools. Sour towards a remote alpine ridge on the boundary of Mt Aspiring National Park and hike towards the luxurious Whare Kea Chalet. Indulge in a delicious dinner prepared by your guide (perfectly paired with local wine) as the sun goes down over the peaks. Stargaze with a small night cap to finish off your adventurous day. Rise in the morning to a freshly brewed coffee before a light hike and heli back to base. 

 

 

Earth, Air & Water 

Rotorua

Start the day biking the rugged land of Whakarewarewa Forest - the most popular mountain bike park in the Southern Hemisphere. Ride the tracks and get your adrenaline pumping with an expert guide showing you the ropes. Only a 15 minute drive from the bike park, don a wetsuit, grab a paddle and get ready to raft the worlds highest commercially run waterfall raft, Tutea falls (7m high). Time for a breather –  enjoy a gourmet picnic and refuel for the afternoon ahead. Finish your day with an extreme high – a full throttle flight in a real military fight jet. Twist, turn, roll and get dizzy in the aerobatics that are combined with speed and awe Inspiring sights of amazing geothermal pools from the sky. Touch back down in Rotorua with a truly unforgettable day.

 

Diving at Poor Knight Island

Bay of Islands

Only three kilometers from the Tutukaka Coast in the Bay of Islands you'll discover the international icon of Poor Knights. Take command of a kayak, SUP or don a mask and snorkel, and find a whole other way to discover the islands. Looking for something totally unique? Dive into the largest sea cave, Rikoriko Cave before fishing for the catch of the day. Whatever your style, Poor Knights has something to suit every adventurous ocean explorer. 

 

Discover the Wild West

Only a short drive from Auckland airport, arrive in the wild west of the North Island for a day of adventure.Take to the rugged coast and let the fresh, salty ocean air wake you up with a morning of blow-karting along the beautiful black sand surf beaches of Muriwai. Catch your breath after an adrenaline fuelled morning and take a more leisurely approach to discover this coastline. Saddle up and meander along the beach by horseback to the edges of the Waitakere Ranges, some of the most stunning bushland in New Zealand, lookout for some native birds and be in awe with nature.
