Description

Situated along the re-developed Kensington Street precinct, The Old Clare Hotel is the first Australian hotel from the unconventional Unlisted Collection: With its rich, varied history and architecture, Chippendale has become the home of choice for dozens of art galleries, production houses, graphic and fashion design studios, plus Sydney’s most exciting new restaurants, cafés and bars.

No two people are alike so no two rooms should be either. There are seven different suite styles ranging from stylish and cosy to opulent and showy, designed to meet all your needs:

Showroom Suite starts from $750 per night: There are two Showroom Suites at The Old Clare Hotel – each with an original bar, salvaged and restored from the former brewery building. The suites feature vintage designer furniture and lamps, a super king sized bed and modern oversized bathroom

Mary O’ Suite starts from $1,550 per night: The hotel’s second largest suite is named after the legendary Chippendale character, Mary O’Shea who was also known as Pig Mary.
Offering a separate entertaining and dining area for up to eight guests, a wet bar and sleeping quarters overlooking Kensington Street, the Mary O’ Suite offers ample space for a comfortable stay but can also be used for meetings and small private dining events.

The C.U.B. Suite starts from $2,800 per night: is located in the former Carlton & United Breweries’ boardroom and still features its original timber panelling, parquetry floors, cornices and even the restored executive men's washroom.
Across more than 100 square meters the C.U.B. Suite offers spacious separate sleeping quarters, ample meeting, living and dining space with an eight-seater table and an anteroom with a library.

Sick of lounging by the pool or enjoying cocktails in their public bar? Enjoy innovative dining at either of the two restaurants that call the hotel home. Esteemed chefs Clayton Wells and Jason Atherton create two completely different dining experiences in Automata and Kensington Street Social
