Arrowtown
The former gold mining town of Arrowtown is situated just 20 minutes from Queenstown.  Housing internationally recongised restaurants and boutiques amongst historic buildings, Arrowtown offers spectacular scenery and tranquil settings for all visitors. 

Glenorchy
Resting on the far edge of Lake Wakatipu, Glenorchy is the base for exploring the region's rugged terrain.  Dozens of Lord of the Rings film locations can be visited on jet boat safaris or horse trekking adventures.

Wine Tours

The winner of the 2008 NZ Tourism Awards, the canyon swing drops you from a cliff mounted platform 109m above the Shotover River.  Free fall 60m past rocky clif faces into the canyon before the ropes smoothly pendulum you into a giant arc of 200m at 150kph!

Jet Boating

If you are experiencing a jet boat for the first time, Queenstown is the place to do it.  Three very different adventures and options await you.  Take a wilderness safari, cruise on the lake or take the “world’s most exciting jet boat ride” through the Shotover River canyons.

Flight Seeing
Take a bird’s eye view of the Southern Alps, or experience remote and normally inaccessible areas via helicopter and fixed wing airplane flights.  Tours range from 20 minute tours of Queenstown to all-day chartered experiences.

Milford Sound
